About the Project
Yehulu Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCOS) was founded by Ato Mesafint Debebe Ayele to offer loans to working people based on their business or income, with no property guarantee, as an alternative to traditional Equb savings circles. I built the Swagger-documented NestJS backend for its digital onboarding and content website, automating member registration, taking membership fee payments and powering a bilingual blog and vacancy listings.

Automated member registration
The system generates a pre-filled PDF form from a template, stores it in MinIO object storage, and serves it through time-limited presigned URLs.
Membership payments
Integrated Chapa payments for membership fees.
Auth & roles
JWT authentication with token-version revocation, password reset by email, and role-based authorization across admin, super-admin and content-creator roles.
Bilingual content
A block-based blog CMS in English and Amharic, plus a vacancy management module.
